Alton Cox

Alton is from Ola, Ga and now lives in the Sandy Springs area. Educated through Georgia State for their Bachelors and their Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Mercer, Alton started their experience in mental health through counseling at Acute Mental Health Hospitals and Mobile Crisis Dispatch. They started their journey through Substance Abuse by working as a lead therapist in a PHP/IOP program and now works as the evening therapist at Inner Voyage Recovery Center. Their therapy approach relies on creating comfortable yet challenging therapeutic environments that motivate individuals to become their best and most productive selves. When not at work, Alton enjoys Dungeons and Dragons with friends while collecting retro movies and video games.
