Jeff is a local resident of Woodstock and grew up in the East Cobb area. Jeff started his journey as a person in recovery himself when he realized his passion for helping others. He combined his newfound passion with his business experience to create a genuinely impactful recovery program. Jeff has owned and operated recovery businesses since 2017. He also attained his Certified Addiction Counseling Level 1 (CACI) during this time. As CEO of Inner Voyage Recovery Center, Jeff is responsible to provide guidance for the overall direction of the organization. He also collaborates with Inner Voyage directors to ensure proper continuity of care between departments. The opportunity of serving the staff and clients alike while improving systems and services is exactly where Jeff thrives.

In his free time, Jeff enjoys reading and studying leadership materials, spending time with his wife and 11-month-old daughter, and riding his dirt bike.

Bayne is from Watkinsville, GA and now resides in Cobb County. Bayne began his work in the treatment industry after getting sober himself, which had ignited a burning passion to help others experience the same freedom, peace, and joy. He started interning at a sober living working weekends and quickly moved up position by position, fueled by an insatiable desire to maximize service to others. Bayne has Housing Management, BHT, Case Management, Recovery Coaching, Crisis Intervention, Group Facilitation, Admissions, and Business Development experience and has found his place running Operations. Armed with experience of the inner workings of Inner Voyage Recovery Center and the treatment industry as a whole, Bayne is responsible for developing, implementing, and upholding robust systems to advance quality of client care and elevate company standards to their highest level.

Most importantly, Bayne is a die-hard UGA fan. In his free time, he is listening to lectures in physics, playing video games, and watching football.

Emily grew up in a variety of places across the United States and moved to Georgia in 2021. She earned a Bachelor of Social Work and a Bachelor of Sociology from Belmont University and earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Louisville. Emily believes in providing Evidence Based Interventions through a strengths-based perspective and is excited to bring her passion and Empathy to Inner Voyage Recovery Center.

Ali is an LPC who has been working in the field since 2019. She grew up in Forsyth County and attended LaGrange College for her two ungraduated degrees and Mercer University for her graduate degree. Ali believes in providing clients empathy and meeting clients where they are at their recovery. She uses DBT, CBT, and other modalities to assist her clients in achieving their goals. Ali is also a certified SMART Recovery facilitator. Outside of work, Ali likes to spend time with her family and friends and cuddle with her dog, Caroline, as often as possible

Carol was born and raised in Sylacauga, AL. In August of 2021 she relocated to Marietta, Georgia. She has 14 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. As a former healthcare professional in long term recovery, Carol enjoys sharing her experience in the healthcare system with other healthcare professionals. She hopes that her experience will work to change the stigma associated with addiction and mental health disorders that impact medical professionals. When not working, Carol enjoys exercising, attending church and is a self proclaimed movie buff.

Sarah is a Woodstock native and has always had a passion for helping others. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Religious Studies to enhance her understanding of all beliefs, cultures and backgrounds of various people she meets. Serving as the Program Director, Sarah knows she has found her calling in working with recovery.

As being a person in recovery herself, Sarah serves with the motivation to see others create a meaningful life in recovery as well. She knows it is possible for anyone, regardless of their history, to build a life they love for themselves and loves helping others see the strengths within them. In her free time, Sarah loves spending time with family, friends and her adorable cat, Ally.

Jessica is a Savannah, GA native who relocated to the Greater Atlanta Area in 2022. Jessica has a strong passion for helping others mending their lives and establish sustainable recovery, as she is in long term recovery herself.

As Case Manager of Inner Voyage Recovery Center, Jessica supports clients with all-encompassing care including but not limited to, Legal Support, Outside Provider Coordination, Discharge Planning, and local Recovery Resources. In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with loved ones, getting her nails done, and making people laugh

Originally from New Jersey, Matthew has dedicated his career to the field of substance abuse and recovery. With nearly a decade of experience in the behavioral health space—and several years in recovery himself—he brings a powerful combination of personal insight and professional expertise to his work. His journey has fueled a deep passion for helping others rediscover their strength and rebuild lives grounded in hope and purpose. Over the years, Matthew has held a wide range of roles in the substance use and mental health treatment industry, including Behavioral Health Technician, Medical Coordinator, Group Facilitator, Quality Assurance Specialist, Admissions Manager, and Director of Operations. His well-rounded background allows him to approach client care and organizational support with empathy, strategy, and a deep understanding of every level of treatment. Outside of his professional life, Matthew is a devoted father to a daughter he adores. He finds balance through time at the gym, woodworking, and mountain biking—activities that reflect his commitment to growth, discipline, and personal well-being. Whether in the workplace or out on the trails, Matthew strives to be a steady, compassionate presence for those working toward lasting recovery.

With a deep passion for supporting those struggling with substance abuse, Josh Coleman serves as the Director of Daily Operations and Administrative Director at Inner

Voyage Recovery Center. In this multifaceted role, he oversees the facility’s day-to-day operations, including managing staff and client logistics, ensuring financial needs are met, handling all HR responsibilities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

A native of Augusta, GA, Josh has a personal connection to the recovery process, having navigated his own journey to sobriety. This experience led him to Woodstock, GA, where he joined the incredible team at Inner Voyage Recovery Center. “It is a deeply fulfilling experience for me to witness the growth and transformation of those in recovery and to know that I played a small part in their journey.”

Outside of work, Josh enjoys hiking, reading, and spending quality time with family—activities that nourish both mind and body, helping to stay grounded and inspired.

A Georgia native, Jarrod grew up in Snellville and went to Georgia State for his B.A. in English. Jarrod serves as a nurturing and knowledgeable Brain Mapping Technician that aims to make our clients feel seen and heard. He uses his personal experience in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction to create a safe space for clients who are learning to re-regulate their neural pathways and increase their likelihood of success in early recovery. He is Braincore certified, and goes above and beyond to inform our clients about the science behind neurofeedback.

Briana is a compassionate and dedicated therapist whose journey into the world of mental health was inspired by her own transformative experiences in therapy. Born and raised in the vibrant city of Chicago, IL, she made the move to Georgia in 2016, bringing with her a deep passion for helping others heal. She earned her undergraduate degree from Millikin University and later pursued her graduate studies at Capella University, equipping herself with the knowledge and skills to guide her clients toward meaningful change.

Embarking on the journey of healing is a courageous step, and Briana deeply honors the bravery it takes to seek support. You’ve taken the first step toward your healing journey, and she is here to walk alongside you. With an innate ability to lead with empathy, authenticity, and unwavering support, Briana will foster a safe and empowering space where you can explore your emotions, find clarity, and grow.

She is especially passionate about breaking the stigma surrounding mental health in culturally diverse communities, striving to provide representation and empower those who have felt unheard. Understanding that healing is not a one-size-fits-all journey, Briana integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and other evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs.
